Long and slow days perpetuate for a few months, a multitude of lazy moments.
I feel comfort on a board of vegan cheeses and seasonal fruits, in the aroma of a freshly baked cake, in the company of wine. Blankets warm the room and add texture to the coziest room in the house.
The tones on the table, serene and elegant, enhance the vibrant colors of the food that arrives from the kitchen. Emerald green prevails, reflecting the intense and sophisticated climate of the centuries-old trees that cast shadows on the damp streets of Porto Alegre, in South Brazil.
I go to the kitchen to warm my body thinking about my next encounter. Will it be with myself or with another people?

Tangerine is the main seasonal fruit in Porto Alegre during the winter, consumed from the traditional food open farmer's market at Redenção on Saturdays to the benches in the beautiful city's parks. Together by the beloved chimarrão (a kind of tea) or as a
dessert after a tasty wine, it is the star of winter. Cheeses, wines and fruits symbolize the special moments around the table, with a candle and blanket to heighten the feeling of embrace.

Windows open and close and quickly let in the frigid southern air. The candles extinguish. Movement brings life to the small and important moments and elevates our senses. The simple becomes exceptional.
Some food styling techniques I used during the Exhibition:
The gray blanket on the chair reinforces the storytelling and creates a cozy atmosphere. As a technique, I used the dishes and objects in a way that formed triangles, creating aesthetic harmony.
Few colors and elements conveying the feeling of winter, such as dry and robust leaves and matte ceramic dishes. These foliage also add volume and fill the black background, bringing dimension and depth.
The leaves kept on the tangerines add textures and reinforce the storytelling of the fruit from the traditional city's open farmer's market. The blanket over the chair, again present in this image, brings the welcoming atmosphere of the season.
